Elasmothemis cannacrioides (Ruddy Streamskimmer)

These are stream dwellers. According to the book:

Males cruise up and down streams like clubskimmers and sylphs but perch like setwings on leaves and twigs over the water with wings depressed.

I encountered this character twice, both occasions being at La Selva Biological Reserve.
